No, we strongly recommend against housing any of our batteries in an engine bay or under the hood of your car.

Can I mount a KickAss 170Ah AGM Battery on it's side?

Yes, as KickAss AGM batteries are fully sealed with durable casing, you can lay them on their side safely without any affecting the performance of life of the battery. 

Can I use a KickAss 170Ah AGM battery to start a vehicle? 

No, KickAss AGM batteries are not designed to start vehicles. You would require that is rated for Cold Cranking Amps (CCA), which KickAss batteries are not. Our batteries are intended for running electrical 12v appliances such as fridges, ovens, lighting, inverters etc.
